Conclusion Questions

2. What are some of the different compositing techniques you used (ex: Clipping masks, adjustment layers, etc.) and where did you use them?
Some of the compositing techniques that I used very frequently were Layer Masks as you can see in my layers above as that is what I needed to use to complete my Portrait.
3. What was the most challenging part of this project? What did you do to overcome this challenge?
The most challenging part of this project was writing down all the steps and ensuring I knew what I was doing with my project. I think another difficult part was figuring out all the layer masks as it was something new to me and a few things that I had to refresh my memory on and trying to keep up with the tutorial videos was very hard to keep up with or understand but in the end I was able to get it done in the end!
4. Based on the learning target, what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.
Based on the learning target, I believe that my work meets the level of mastery or slightly exceeds it. I believe this because I was able to follow instructions from the videos provided and use all the necessary layer masks and attempted to figure out some new and unfamiliar tools like creating the face paint layer and flipping layer masks in order to use the brush pen and bring out the layer mask color that way. I also slightly exceeded the standard as I went on and decided to do my own kind of monster, using the zombie and skeleton videos as well as inspiration from the Movie Corps Bride and combining the three to create something similar to the Corps Bride but also making it my own! There are a few things I wish I could improve like the realism but other than that I believe I did a decent job meeting the standards!
