Comic Coloring

Conclusion Questions:
1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to complete this project. Start with setting up your layers in photoshop and use your photoshop vocabulary to explain how you edited each layer to color your comic book character.
In completing this comic coloring project there were many steps to follow. The very first was to find an image to color, which was honestly the hardest part for me because I didn't want anything too hard to detailed that I wouldn't be able to finish but I also didn't want it to be plain as well. After finding and being set on my image I had to use the Magic Wand Tool to remove the background of my images as well as the eraser tool to clean up anything I missed. Then I duplicate my layer once for my flat colors and here is where I also used the Eyedropper Tool in order to get the best match of colors to my reference images. I also used the Magic Wand Tool to Select and Deselect parts of the image I did and didn't want colored. After laying down my flat color I made two new layers, one of my image and a blank one, in order to Shade my image and to Swatch my colors for shading. Last but not least I needed to find an image for my background that I would drop into Photoshop and adjust to fit and save my final image as a JPEG. This project is very similar to what a Color Stylist would do as well!

2. Based on the learning target, what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so?
I believe that my project meets or is on the boarder to exceeding the learning target standards. Reason being that I did very well on adding all the details and following instructions and presented my work pretty well. However I could always have room form more improvement and detail which my background could be lacking.
