Conclusion Questions
1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to complete this project. Start with photographing and end with the editing process in photoshop.
To start off I had to photograph a few pictures in order to actually start the editing process. After taking my picture of my model and the background, I went and uploaded them to photoshop using the tool "Load files into stack." To edit the pictures I would use tools such as layer masks and then the brush tool with the colors black and white to reveal and conceal parts of the image I wanted to erase or keep within my layers. Once I was completely satisfied with my work I would download the image as JPEG and upload them on my website!!
2. What are layer masks? How do es it differ from just using the eraser tool in photoshop? How might you use them in the future to create more projects in photoshop?
Layer masks are a nondestructive way to hide parts of an image or layer without completely erasing them. In the future I might use this tool in order to to create logos or designs in digital marketing or for school art projects in the future!
3. Do you believe your project was (successful/ unsuccessful). Why?
I believe my project was pretty successful for it being my first time using this kind of tool in photoshop and style of photographing. Although I could use some work with my editing skills my pictures came out pretty decent.
4. Based on the learning target, " Practice and demonstrate skills in the manipulation of digital imagery by using photoshop to create a composite image" what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think?
I think my level of mastery in this project is probably meets the learning target almost close to exceeding. I think I could use a bit more work in editing my photos a bit better and find ways to make the editing process more smooth and easier but overall I think my project was well put together!
