Conclusion Questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes and keyboard commands as possible.

I started with opening up Adobe Illustrator with a letter size page, and once I finished setting everything up I went online to look for ideas and inspiration. Once I had an idea of my landscape, I made sure to set up the base color of my Foreground, Middle ground and Background. Then I made my sky first, adding the moon, stars, and cloud by using small details as well. Details such as gradients for the moon, FX tools to change the blur of the clouds and to create an Outer Glow. Then I went in with my Pen Tool in order to trace out buildings I wanted to use. I also used the Image Trace tool very often in the creation of my landscape to add trees, mountains, bushes, and flowers. Also when adding bushes and clouds and other complex shapes, I used the Shape Builder Tool to help me make random objects whole and remove pieces I did not want. A few other things I used were the Pucker and Bloat tools. Symbols, and Stroke and Fill. Once I was done completely with my landscape I made sure to export my project and take a screen shot of my layers that I used.

2. How do animators and color stylist use Ai in their profession?

Adobe Illustrator plays a very critical role when it comes to creating motion graphics, including style frames, artwork creation, infographic animations and character design.

3. What type of landscape did you set out to create? Did your final product meet the expectations you set for yourself; why or why not?

The landscape that I set out to create was a night time kind of small village and the reference image contained a lot of lanterns and trees. I think my final product did meet the expectations that I set for myself because I was able to get most of the details that I wanted to have in there as well as added some of my own details to it like the mountains in the background and the greenery.

4. Based on the learning target, "Apply refined observation and drawing skills to design and create a vector landscape with a foreground, middle ground and background in Adobe Illustrator by using gradients, image trace the pen tool and shape tool sprayer " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I think that the level of mastery my project met is Exceeds as I added a lot of different details also showing my knowledge  in the many different tools that we were asked to use and even tools that were not asked to use. I think it really shows my understanding when it comes to using Adobe Illustrator and all the different tools and techniques.
